Today mommy took Erin to her two-month appointment. She apparently did really well, and was cute as could be. Even was coo-ing and flirting with the doctor. Erin is almost 10 lbs now (9 lbs and 15 oz), and is doing very well. She's still a bit on the tiny side for her age (25th percentile for weight), but is right at the average for length at 22 1/2 inches (50th percentile). She was very happy until she started getting her shots...four of them. That made her sad, and now she's got bright neon yellow band-aid's on each leg. The children's tylenol has helped calm her, and she's extra sleepy right now...we hope she still sleeps well tonight!!!
Alicia and Erin...she hasn't forgotten a thing about babies in 10 years.
Erin liked where daddy works, and thought all his co-workers were really nice!!
As expected, Mary K. was the first to hold Erin. She volunteered to take her off our hands so we (and the rest of the attendees) could eat. A born mommy!
We started this blog just before the birth of our daughter Erin in May 2005, and have been keeping it updated as often as we have the time. And now that she has a little brother, Tanner, born in October 2008, we will continue to chronicle the growing stages of the two of them. There are pictures and short statements about many stages of Erin's development into a little girl, and Tanner's into a little boy. It's been a precious ride seeing Erin grow up (she obviously still has a long way to go), and we look forward to doing the same with Tanner. It's been fun to be able to share photo's with others on the blog, and it's an especially nice way to keep all their relatives that live many miles away up to date, which is probably the main reason we're here. Enjoy the many pictures of Erin, Tanner and our family! And of course, we always appreciate your comments.
