Snapshot of Erin's First Two Years

Any Resemblences

Here's some young pictures of mommy next to some pictures of Erin. I think there are certainly some similarities here. They're certainly both very cute (brownie points??).

Little Drummer Girl

Erin got to play the drums at Anders birthday party. I was pretty impressed at the way she worked the bass drum pedal.

Mall of America Trip

Erin got to meet Pablo and Uniqua from the Backyardigans. She was very excited. She also loved the Hello Kitty face painting, or as she called it, "my tatoo."

Our Ladybug

Erin has to try on her ladybug dress and show off her legs (it's at least a size too small now...but for some reason she loves to dance in it).

Making Valentines Cards

Erin enjoyed making Valentine cards. I especially like the picture holding up her masterpiece.

Little Safari Girl...

Kind of reminds me of Mrs. Howell (where's Thurston???).

When Elmo Grows Up...

Erin enjoyed her first "Broadway" production show. We went with Blake Palm and his mom and dad. The kids were thoroughly entertained. Now the question is, "Do you know what Elmo wants to be when he grows up?" Well, we do, and we're not telling. You'll just have to go see the show yourself.

New Use For Swimming Diapers

Swimming diapers appear to be the new hat fad for this coming season. Authors note: make sure they're unused!!!

The Little Red Sled

Erin loved her little red sled....at least after a little coaxing that going down on it was safe. While she wasn't going to have any part in going down by herself, she slowly warmed to the idea of going down in daddy's lap. Never mind that he pretty much needed some Vaseline and a shoe horn to get in and out of the small seat. It was a blast sharing the first sledding experience with her. And our friends Tom and his dog Georgie also came and joined us, which was also very fun! Thanks to mommy for taking all the pictures.

Our Little Picasso

This is our little Picasso at work. Erin actually picked out the hat (had only worn it once...still wondering how she knew it was an "artsy" hat?). We were very happy that she was amenable to wearing the plastic smock....saved the shirt and pants for at least another wear or two.
