This means Swedish Heritage Day, but we always just referred to it as The Swedish Picnic...has been at Minnehaha Falls Park every summer as far back as I can remember. Attendance isn't quite what it used to be, but it's still a fun time, and you can still run into a Viking or two. We had some rain sneak in on us that we weren't totally prepared for as well, but we made due. Added a little extra excitement to the day.

So which one, between the niece or the nephew, looks most like Uncle Timmy?
We started this blog just before the birth of our daughter Erin in May 2005, and have been keeping it updated as often as we have the time. And now that she has a little brother, Tanner, born in October 2008, we will continue to chronicle the growing stages of the two of them. There are pictures and short statements about many stages of Erin's development into a little girl, and Tanner's into a little boy. It's been a precious ride seeing Erin grow up (she obviously still has a long way to go), and we look forward to doing the same with Tanner. It's been fun to be able to share photo's with others on the blog, and it's an especially nice way to keep all their relatives that live many miles away up to date, which is probably the main reason we're here. Enjoy the many pictures of Erin, Tanner and our family! And of course, we always appreciate your comments.
